About the Cohort

Cohort will meet in person at the School of Engineering Quad- Huang 305
Interest Form Due: Friday, September 27, 2024 at 5pm
The Engineering and Sustainability team at Stanford Career Education offers an Engineering Career Community Cohort to help engineering masters’ students build community and create a career roadmap that is aligned with their values, strengths and interests.

Are you thinking about what you want to do in the future? Are you hoping to learn more about yourself and connect with other engineering students, career educators, and employers? Do you want to map out your career? The Engineering Career Community Cohort team invites you to apply!
Build a Network
Build a network of connections with peers, career coaches, employers, and alumni, who will help you understand how to map your experiences to meaningful work.

Week 1: Introductions, Goals & Agreements, & Community Building, Create your Lifeline
Week 2: Career Identity & Meaningful Work
Week 3: The Story of My Strengths, Building My Roadmap
Week 4: Employer/Alumni Panel: Connect & Share Experiences
Week 5: Present Your Career Roadmap
Week 6: Date and Time TBD - Recognition of Accomplishments
The cohort program helps you take personal ownership of your career path through:
Connecting | Cultivating | Reflecting | Discovering | Developing |
Gain a network of peers, alumni, and employers while tapping into the hidden knowledge within the community. | Create a safe space for learning, vulnerability, and peer support. | Engage in intentional practices to deepen your understanding of yourself and others. | Identify your values and strengths, and craft your career narrative using your personalized career roadmap. | Complete the 6-week cohort with a clearer sense of purpose in both your work and life. |
